Arthur Maranian, Jr.
With more than 30 years in the industry, Arthur founded Signature Printing & Consulting to continue serving clients who
care about printing and can benefit from his expertise. Arthur began working at his family-owned print shop in Arlington in
1973 and grew the business from a letterpress invitation and stationery shop into a full-service multi-color printing company
that specialized in working with graphic designers on everything from stationery systems to annual reports.
During this time he developed a simple philosophy:
- Customers come first.
- Printing is still a craft and needs to be treated as such.
- Designers and print buyers should be able to do their jobs and not worry about being production managers.
Arthur places every project with the right equipment to ensure that your jobs will look great and be as efficient as possible
on press. He knows whether a job should be run digitally, conventionally—or a combination of both, and he is a great resource
for ideas about special print processes or finishing techniques to really make a piece shine.
Arthur has a reputation for being particular. He crosses every T and dots every "i" so clients don't have to worry about the
details. He is responsive and involved, and he has respect in the printing industry, particularly with graphic designers who
care about quality.

Brian Maranian
Brian received the best education for a future print specialist—hands on and very thorough. He started coming to his father's
print shop when he was young, and worked there throughout high school and college. Starting out on the shop floor,
Brian worked his way through every department; including estimating, prepress, on press, finishing, shipping, and customer service. These years gave him knowledge and experience in all aspects of printing and an appreciation for a high-quality finished
product. Whether it’s a small business card run or a multi color brochure with special die-cutting and binding, each job
gets the same attention to detail.
In addition to managing print projects, Brian works on building complete marketing campaigns that include design, print, mailing services, variable data, and online options such as email blasts and PURLs. He keeps current with the latest technology—he has set up several clients with web-based systems to make routine ordering of stationary, data sheets, and simple
flyers easy to order and cost-effective. Brian manages marketing and new business development at Signature.
Brian is a graduate of The Rivers School (Weston, MA). And holds a bachelor's degree in management from Bentley University, Waltham.

Lisa Maranian Tillis
Lisa recently joined Signature Printing & Consulting in August 2010. She as well started her career in the print industry at the family print shop in September of 2000 after she graduated college. She was the office manager and customer service rep and worked on small design pieces and typesetting for clients. Understanding the process from beginning to end, she was prepared to move onto a new opportunity and perspective, working as the client.
Lisa became a production coordinator at Pioneer Investments. She had many responsibilities working there in the creative services department, including: traffic, print procurement for collateral; large format; and financial print, and fulfillment management. Lisa managed anywhere between 15-30 jobs at any given time, procuring print up to hundreds of thousands of dollars. Her next opportunity brought her to JP Morgan Asset Management as a production manager. Here she managed the production, typesetting, print buying and mailing for all the annual reports and prospectuses.
Prior to coming to Signature, Lisa was with the ad agency, Digitas, where she worked on national accounts managing large loyalty and CRM marketing direct mail programs. She learned a vast amount about direct mail, USPS regulations, color management and highly complex digital variable print on demand. She worked with different capability teams, clients, managed budgets and regularly went on press checks and live mail house QC checks.
Lisa brings an immense amount of experience and ideas from her past endeavors. She understands what it takes to manage ongoing programs and mailings and multiple projects at a time, even under the tightest timeline.
Lisa is a graduate of Colby-Sawyer College in New London, NH and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
